Het ontwerp van de Circle of life is een drie dimensionale weergave van een tweetal perspectieven waarop je het object kunt bekijken.
Eerste perspectief; Linnaeus
De sokkel is het leven
De basis die Linnaeus gebruikte binnen zijn taxonomie
(classificatie van al het leven op aarde)
Deze is onder te verdelen in acht rangen (de acht bollen): Domein, Rijk, Stam, Klasse, Orde, Familie, Geslacht, Soort
en zijn via een cirkel verbonden om de onderlinge samenhang te versterken.
Tweede perspectief; maatschappij / organisatie
De bollen vertegenwoordigen mensen en middelen die door samen te werken de cirkel en organisatie vormen. Samenwerking van organisaties is het fundament (de sokkel) van onze gemeenschap.

First perspective; Linnaeus
The base is life
The basis that Linnaeus used within his taxonomy
(classification of all life on earth).
This can be divided into eight ranks (the eight spheres): Domain, Empire, Tribe, Class, Order, Family, Gender, Species
and are connected via a circle to strengthen the interconnection.
Second perspective; society/organization
The spheres represent people and resources that by working together form the circle and organization. Cooperation of organizations is the foundation (pedestal) of our community.
